TWIN ENGINE Inc. will be participating in the largest North American anime convention “Anime Expo” from Friday, July 1 to Monday, July 4.
In our first “Anime Expo,” we will be presenting special stages which will be featuring our animation such as “Vinland Saga” and other titles. We will also be presenting a special stage featuring Studio Colorido’s director Tomotaka Shibayama known for his first directed film, “A Whisker Away” will be on stage to do live drawing. Furthermore, a new collaborative project called “Plantopia” by TWIN ENGINE,GOOD SMILE COMPANY and MAX FACTORY will be introduced during the panel event. The booth will be showcasing the main visual of Studio Colorido’s upcoming movie “Drifting Home.” This movie will be in theaters and on NETFLIX from September.

In 2020, an animated feature film from Studio Colorido, “A Whisker Away”was streamed on Netflix. The film ranked in the top 10 in 30 different countries. Our panel will be joined by Tomotaka Shibayama, director of “A Whisker Away” and Koji Yamamoto, President of Studio Colorido. Shibayama, will be doing live drawing, while Yamamoto will be sharing info about the magic being created inside the rising studio, Colorido. A lucky participant will receive the drawing done by Shibayama during this panel.

Japanese anime television series animated by Geno Studio and produced by TWIN ENGINE. Original character designs are done by Hiroyuki Takei, the author of all-time-favorite, Shaman King. Come and enjoy Bakumatsu samurai entertainment! All attendees of the event will receive “一番光れ！Bucchigire” mask!

TWIN ENGINE’s CEO Koji Yamamoto and Planning Producer Naokado Fujiyama will be sharing some insights about all-time-favorite titles “Vinland Saga SEASON 2”, “The Ancient Magus’ Bride” and the movie “Mononoke”! Additionally, we will be revealing information about the new collaborative project of TWIN ENGINE, GOOD SMILE COMPANY and MAX FACTORY called “Plantopia”. Kenji Nakamura, director of the movie “Mononoke” and Takahiro Sakurai, who plays the role as “the medicine seller” have prepared an exclusive video message for the attendees of the panel. First 300 attendees will receive “Vinland Saga Season 2” AX limited character sticker (4 types will be distributed randomly). Let’s see which character sticker you get!
